Pollen Count & Forecast for Hyderabad

Hyderabad’s main allergy season (June-November) is dominated by Carrot Grass and Neem pollen; Carrot Grass (Parthenium hysterophorus) prolific in open ground near Hussain Sagar Lake; Neem (Azadirachta indica) widespread across Jubilee Hills and city parks. Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) contributes significantly from KBR National Park. The dry season (October-February) sees high Grass (Poaceae) pollen levels, originating from Mrugavani National Park; Gulmohar (Delonix regia) adds to spring counts.

Rocky outcrops and granite hills trap air pollutants; urban heat islands keep pollen suspended. The humid monsoon season sees elevated Mould (Aspergillus, Penicillium) levels; spores come from damp areas near the Public Gardens and decaying vegetation in Mrugavani National Park.
