Tehran’s spring allergy season (March-May) is dominated by Plane and Walnut pollen; Oriental Plane (Platanus orientalis) prolific along Valiasr Street and Mellat Park; Walnut (Juglans regia) common in northern districts. Ash (Fraxinus) contributes significantly from Laleh Park and the Alborz foothills. Summer (June-August) sees high Grass (Poaceae) pollen levels, originating from the Kan River banks and Chitgar Forest Park.
