Pollen Count & Forecast for Tashkent
About Pollen in Tashkent
Tashkent’s spring allergy season (March–May) is dominated by Poplar and Willow pollen; Poplar (Populus) prolific in Alisher Navoi National Park; Willow (Salix) widespread along the Anhor Canal. Birch (Betula) contributes significantly from the Japanese Garden. Summer (June–August) sees high Grass (Poaceae) pollen levels, originating from the Chirchiq River banks.
Wide avenues and regional temperature inversions can trap pollen, leading to localised high concentrations. Autumn and winter see elevated Mould (Alternaria, Cladosporium) spore counts, from leaf litter in Central Park and damp areas near the Salar Canal.
